“Let’s stay like this for the night. We can change back in the morning.” Kyle whispered.
“What? Why?” Tiffany asked.
“Because, I need to talk to you later, and it’ll be easier if we stay as your parents for the night.” Kyle replied.
“Fine.” Tiffany walked away.
Later that night, Kyle waited in Robert and Mary’s room for Tiffany to come in. “So what did you want to talk about?”
“I want to talk about us.” Kyle said.
“Us?” Tiffany said skeptically. “What do you mean ‘us’?”
“We fight all the time, for no reason, and I’m tired of it. Why don’t we stop fighting now...and maybe try something new.” Kyle said, almost mumbling the last part.
Tiffany still heard it though. “What do you mean try something new?”
“I mean...” Kyle paused, sighing deeply, nervous about what he was about to say. “Would you like to be my girlfriend?”
