"Prince training?" You ask.
"But of course," Luna laughed. "Did you honestly believe that we would spend the rest of your days enjoying the privileges of royalty with none of the responsibilities?"
"Well I kinda hoped," you confess as you exit the bathroom. "How do I look?"
"Very fetching, young man. Now, follow me to the throne room. Tis best we begin early."
"Early?" You ask as you match your pace to hers. "Looks like you lowered the moon only an hour ago."
"Two, actually," Luna corrected. "Consider this part of your lesson. The duties of royalty can be taxing."
"Yeah. You say that, but the thing that comes immediately to mind is you keeping me up all night to play some new board game..."
"We shall have you know," Luna cut you off, "that we were astral projecting into the dreams of ponies, as is our duty, while also crushing you at Maropoly. We were preforming our duties to the kingdom, as well as spending some quality time with our dear nephew. Multitasking is another skill you shall become acquainted with."
"Fine. I guess you got me there," you relent. "But what about Blue Blood? I don't think I've ever seen him do anything."
Luna's expression became sour. "You would do well not to look at him as a role model... in anything. Not as a prince, not as a stallion, and under no circumstances are you to ever ask him for dating advice." She was especially insistent on that last part.
"That actually reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask. Aunt Celestia adopted both Cadence and Blue Blood as her niece and nephew, right?"
"Correct," Luna nodded.
"I get Cadence. She was an alicorn which means she's was destined for big things from an early age. Adopting her and giving her princess training was an obvious move. But what's the deal with Blue Blood?"
"We have asked our sister the very same thing. Apparently she was very close to Blue Blood's parents and made him a prince as a favor to them when they died. He was very young when this happened and has known no other life. Unfortunately, Equestia was going through political turbulence with the griffon kingdom, and so she could not be as attentive as she had wished. So on the few occasions she was able to be with him, she gave him whatever he asked for."
"And that's how he became a spoiled brat?" You ask.
"More or less," Luna nodded. "Thankfully, we have learned from the mistakes of our sister and will not be spoiling you." Without warning the Princess of the Night suddenly turned around and pulled you into a powerful embrace. "Except with hugs. Nopony can ever have too many hugs."
You struggled to pull yourself free from your aunt's vice-like grip, trying to ignore the fact that your face was planted firmly between her breasts. However, a stern look from her is all you need to remember Luna's rule. When somepony shows you affection, you'd best return it or face the consequences. So you hugged her back, much to her delight. When she is satisfied and lets you go, who do you meet on the way to the throne room?
