So your good nature kicks in forcing you to quitely slide down the ruff bark of your safe place. The police, if they really were police had already Tranquilized the poor thing and where beggining to perform some sort of surgery on him. You slither closer without so much as a sound. Its quite eas to sneak up on the group as they snap twigs and step on dried leaves every spare chance the get. Then you hear voices:
" *chuckle* Nice shot Randy, he didn't even know what hit him till it was to late!" Said on of the cops.
"It was nothing really. The BearBreak poison can kill anything!" Replyed Randy
"Dont celebrate to quick you two" Said a female, with a medical instrament "He is still breathing, slowly and his brain is completely haywired. As you all can see," she said pointing to a sceen near her tool,"The brain is trying desperatly to rewire the lungs and heart for full effeincency. Right now its just at 25%"
"Whatever, he'll die soon enough." Said Randy soundimg like he was in charge here. "We still have to report to the big boss."
They packed all there gear up and began to trudge back to your house, when an idea formed in your mind. As the female cop struted past your hiding spot you thrust out your tail and tripped her. Fortunatly she sruck her head on a tree And when she got up cursing she forgot her equipment. Once they were out of normal sight you gathered her stuff and slithered over to the seemingly dead wolf. It took awhile to hook the strange hand held ultra sound like device and even longer to hold gently without chrushing it. After finding the nervous system in the brain you make a bit of meaning out of it. Apperently biology and anatomy piad off for once. you thought. But everything that you could understand said that the wolf was completely fine except it had lost a bit of blood. The cops seemed to take the bullet out already, strange since they didnt take the wolf...
