This isn't fair! You can't even visualize what a letter looks like! Can you learn to read and write again? This is infuriating! At least you can understand what they say, though it does seem harder than before. You collapse on the bed in a sulk, wishing you could talk to someone!
Cameron meanwhile is confused but rather amazed.
"How did it do that?" she mutters "And why?"
Ashley peeks her head in and looks.
"Eww! What's that on the window. Did it puke?"
"Er, no... it picked a glass up and threw it... then put the glass gently back down again. I've never seen any reptile interact that delicately with objects like that! Maybe it's trained?" Though from her tone it sounds like Cameron doesn't believe that.
"Well it can't stay here! Did it frighten Jake off? It's not.... bulgy." Ashley shivers at the thought. "So it didn't eat him. Where is he?"
"No this guy definitely didn't eat Jake. It looks... tame." She says, then Ashley gasps as Cameron moves forward and gently reaches a hand out to Jake. "Hey guy, how are you doing?"
Jake was facing away, but the smell got to him. If he had eyelids they'd have snapped open. As it was his head twisted round to face Cameron, who stopped her motion, then after a couple of seconds continued, stretching her hand towards his head.
"So big guy, you're nice and friendly aren't you?"
The smell and taste of the woman is intoxicating, though with effort you stifle it... but as her hand gets closer the smell gets intense!
