One thing they don't tell you when you come to work for S.H.I.E.L.D. is you often end up having to store random Avengers tech in your base where it will sit and gather dust were you not to periodically send it off to other bases.
What this means is Daisy had a day when she had very little to do, so decided to mess around and play with their current supply of doodads. She'd already tried on Black Widow's cat suit and electro gauntlets, hacked a spare Iron Man helmet to address her as 'Mistress Skye' and tried on Loki's helmet, just because it was there and she is clearly bored. The final item on her list of things to mess with were unlabelled so all she could see were key ring/fidget spinner sized discs with a glowing blue centre to them.
"What the Hell are you?" she asks, trying to be delicate with them, but a side effect of her fidgety nature and general cabin fever mixed with her inhuman abilities in particular meant her body vibrated very slightly at all times, nothing really noticeable to an ordinary person (Daisy only ever became aware of it herself when she was left with nothing to do for more than 5 hours) but it was enough to crack the delicate device and once a crack formed the entire object shattered, spraying Daisy with a fine blue substance.
"Shit!" Daisy winced as she wiped residue from her face, the problem was the device she just broke was one of Ant Man's shrink probes, designed to shrink any matter even without the use of a containment vessel such as the suit. Daisy found this out the hard way when her vision blurred and the ground was suddenly a LOT closer to her head than it was when she entered the room like 25 minutes ago.
'I'm so fucked' Daisy thinks as she looks around, guessing she's about 5 inches at most and was lucky that he clothes shrunk with the rest of her, as she doubted there were many doll clothes onsite plus she didn't want to expose herself to the rest of the team like that. She had just managed to settle her panicked nerves when she felt tremors (oh irony, they weren't coming from her this time), as ______ enters the room
