I figured dumping 50% in was neither the most reckless thing I could do nor the safest. I wasn't there to be either so it seemed fitting enough.

She dealt a 6 facing up a 5 facing down. She has a 10 visable. I could definitely hit without busting. Hell I could have double downed on it. That being said a 10 is the most common card which means I could have gotten 21 but if I don't its was quite likely she had 20. Staying really was not an option in this case though. The lowest number she could possibly have had is 12. That being said... I also considered a few... less than legal tactics my uncle had taught me to get the upper hand. My uncle had also been in jail for a good 10 years so I can't say I was wise for thinking about it.
