"What a piece of junk" Eric complained to himself. Earlier today, he had been forced in buying some odd necklace from a weird old man on the street. The necklace wasn't bad in appearance, being gold in color with a special jewel in the middle. He surprisingly didn't have to pay for it, which is why he imagined that it was junk.
"Why did I have to listen to that old man" he continued muttering to himself. He was currently wearing the necklace, against his rather negative thoughts on it. It didn't make him look girly or anything so perhaps that's why he kept it on. Right now, it was about 8:00 and he was still awake when...
"Bro! Are you in there?" Whitney asked from the other side of your door. "Yeah, come on in if you want," his said. With that he heard his door open. His sister had on a blue nightshirt with a Pikachu on it and black slippers. "Stupid brother, you know Mom won't let you stay up late," Whitney said. "Yeah, yeah, I'll get in the bed in a minute," he said.
She sighed then noticed the necklace saying, "Wow, Eric, that's a nice necklace. Where did you get it?"
"Really? Thanks, I guess. It was kind of wierd how I got..." he said before looking at his sister. She almost looked like she was in a trance. Eric looked down to see his necklace moving back and forth like a pendulum. Eric chuckled to himself. Maybe his sister was playing with him, acting like she was hypnotized.
