Harper woke with a thud as she fell off of her bed from such an intense dream.
She felt a little disoriented but noticed right away, with some dismay, that she was her normal skinny size and that was all just a dream.
However, she did feel more emboldened to not let her sister take advantage of her and she was not going to let Gracie push her around just because she was hungry.
She heard sounds in the kitchen. Gracie was eating again....
Harper wasn't hungry but she wasn't super full anymore. She figured if she ate when she saw Gracie eating, that would be a good start to her journey.
Gracie was at the table with a whole box of brownies in front of her and a tall glass of milk. Harper could hear Gracie chewing the sticky brownies loudly.. and gulping the milk as if it's almost gone.
"Are you going to eat that whole box???" Harper questioned the little fat girl.
"Yeah, I'm feeling extra hungry today..." Gracie said unsure of what Harper was getting at.
"Give me half." Harper demanded.
"Um.. ok.. Geez.." Gracie said as she handed Harper 6 of the brownies.
Harper ate those brownies and drank half of Gracie's milk as well.
Harper felt good. She felt more full but also more assertive and strong.
She felt good about these changes.. and she was looking forward to other changes that will start to show on her body as a result.
Gracie still wasn't satisfied after only eating half of the box of brownies so she began to look for more food. She found some Fettuccini Alfredo from the Italian restaurant down the street which uses lots of cream and butter in the food and was super delicious.
She warmed herself up a plate and Harper again said
"Hey, give me half of that too!"
Begrudgingly Gracie did as her older sister asked. Thinking it somewhat strange how Harper's eating habits seemed to be a bit different but also she was starting to like the company. It's more fun to eat with someone than alone.
The girls talked as they ate about some of their friends and drama. They were genuinely enjoying each others company.
