Harper Stops To Look At A New Ice Cream Parlor

Harper then spotted a new ice cream place. She looked at the sign for the place, noticing it saying "Lisa's Ice Cream Parlor." Intrigued at the new place, Harper decided to go inside of the place. As she got in there, she noticed that the whole place was empty. The parlor looked nice as there was a red colored bar with red bar stools, white shining tiles, and pictures of ice cream hanging around. Harper then noticed the freezer of ice cream in front of her, which was directly next to the bar. Harper licked her lips as she noticed delicious flavors of ice cream that she had never had before. As Harper sat down at a bar stool, a lady walked in from the back of the place. The lady was young with black hair and a skinny body.

"Well hello there! Welcome to my ice cream parlor. I'm Lisa. What can I get you?" Lisa asked Harper.

"Could I get a large cup of your brownie lovers ice cream?" Harper asked politely in her innocent voice.

Within minutes, the ice cream was placed in front of Harper as she dug in with ease. Lisa watched the girl eat as she became intrigued with how quick Harper was eating her ice cream. Lisa came up with an idea that could benefit her.

"So what's your name?" Lisa asked Harper.

"My name is Harper. I'm assuming you're Lisa?" Harper asked.

"You are right. How old are you?" Lisa asked.

"I am currently fifteen," Harper said with a smile.

"Really? You are adorable for a fifteen year old," Lisa said with a laugh as Harper kept on grinning.

"Well thank you. I try," Harper said as she pulled her hat down, trying to look innocent.

"I tell you what. You seem like a lot of fun and you seem like you love to eat. Would you like to have a job here?" Lisa asked quickly.

"That sounds nice, but what kinds of things would I be doing?" Harper asked.

"Well if anything, you would serve customers. I mean, if we are not busy, you would taste test my ice cream, which will probably be a lot. On top of that, you could advertise outside the mall for me. I mean, you are dressed properly for that. And don't worry. Your hours would be flexible and I would pay you well. So what do you say? You could start now if you want by taste testing my other ice creams," Lisa said with a smile.

Harper felt that Lisa was right. She really couldn't turn down an offer like that.
