You really liked movies with giant monsters and you had to admit, you sometimes fantasized about being at the mercy of giant women. You looked at the sign again. Maybe they would also take a volunteer for the role of a tiny person. When you entered, a young woman with long, red hair, sitting behind a desk, looked up. Her blue eyes gazed at you from behind her glasses. "A costumer I presume? Unfortunately, we are full right now. If you come back in an hour..." You interrupted her by raising your hand. "No, I'm not a costumer. In fact, I wanted to ask if I could be shrunken." The woman seemed to get suspicious and squeezed her eyes, but then she relaxed again and smiled. "Of course we can. If that's what you like. Just sign here."
You were more than excited, so you grabbed a pen and signed the paper she handed you without looking at it. Then you glanced over the contract, but she immediately pulled it back and put it into her desk. But in the short time your eyes had scanned the paper, you had read something about Durlexx not guaranteeing your safety. So, nothing important. The woman then got up and shook your hand. "Glad to have a volunteer. My name is Rachel, by the way. Please follow me."
She led you through a door into a room filled with human sized capsules. "The cites have already been prepared, but these devices will not only shrink you to the appropriate size, they will also teleport you into the city." Rachel looked at one of the monitors. "Good, this session has not started yet. Please, step into that one." You walked into the capsule she had pointed at. Rachel shut the glass door behind you. Then, she turned a dial and pushed a few buttons. The machine started to hum around you. Rachel turned around and waved at you. You wanted to wave back, but then a bright flash blinded you.
When you came back to your senses, you found yourself in a large city. Giant buildings, each several hundred feet tall, surrounded you and in the distance, skyscrapers towered over everything. On the streets, people were panicking. Suddenly, someone ran up to you. "Hey, don't just stand there. We have to prepare ourself if we want to have a chance." You smiled irritated. "Why so serious. Relax. We all volunteered for this." The man's face turned red in anger and he grabbed you. "What?! Are you kidding me?" All of a sudden, he let go of you again. His face was now filled with disbelief. "Wait, you volunteered?" You nodded. "Of course." The man slowly backed of. "Sure." Then he turned around and ran off, along with all the others.
You started to wonder when the show was about to start. Almost as an answer, a load stomping sound echoed across the city, accompanied by a vibration in the ground. Then another. And another. The sound came from the right. You quickly ran up the fire escape of one of the building to get a better view. When you reached the top, you jaw dropped in awe at the sight before you.
