Make your way to her shoes

You walked slowly at first, trying not to wake her up, but it became obvious quickly that your small footsteps on the carpet would not wake her up. You would have to scream in order to (possibly) manage that.

You decided to start walking at a normal pace.

As you approached the shoes that laid beside her bedside table, you noticed a pair of high heels laying underneath her bed. You pondered it for a moment. Should you stick with her tennis shoes or change over to her high heels now?
