Jean heard the Professor's voice in her head as Kitty and Rogue discussed the shopping they had done on their trip. It was time to go, they were heading to the where they had parked the X Jet. I hear you Professor, thought Jean, going onto the Astral Plane.
Standing opposite Jean on the Plane was Professor X.
"What is so important that you have to contact me on the Astral Plane?" asked Jean
"Alex Summers had dissapeared," said Xavier "Scot has gone to Scotland to find him, I want you to join him there."
"I'm sure Scot can look for Alex on his own," said Jean "Why am I needed?"
Xavier hesitated. "There have been strange energy signatures all over Scotland, I sensed them when I was searching for Alex in Cerebro, Scot does not know this, and I believe that puts him in danger, we don't know what they could be, I need you to find Scot and make sure he knows about the energy, we need to find out what the energy is before we continue."
"Understood Professor," said Jean "Should I bring Kitty and Rogue with me, or tell them to return to the mansion?"
"Bring them," said Xavier "Brief them on the situation, Rogue has absorbed Alex, she might have some insight into where he might have gone."
