"Mark, come on in", Mat calls from deep inside his office. You've already noticed his secretary is missing. She was hot, of course they're always hot. You stroll into Mat's office. "Stand right there", Mat orders as you approach his desk. You have no idea why you've been called to the General Manager's office. You've done your best to go unnoticed. You've done your job well, but not too well that you'd be a threat to anyone. Mat gets up and walks around you. "Not bad, you should work out just fine, you're the right build. You just need some adjustments in the right places", Mat comments. Confused you ask, "What would I work out fine for?" "My new secretary", he states flatly. Confused you say, "Secretary? Sir, with all due respect I'm a programmer, sir. I'm sure that the pool has plenty of well qualified secretaries that have the proper training." Mat sits back at his desk and laughs, "Oh they have plenty in the pool that are well qualified, but they are lacking qualities that you have." You stand there silent and confused. From the stories you've heard the only qualities Mat is only interested if they're hot and they put out. You just then have a horrifying though, "What if he swings both ways." The way he's looking at you suddenly takes on a different meaning. "Listen Mark, I like you and I want you. Come to work as my secretary and I will make it worth your while. I'm offering you twice your current salary plus a wardrobe allowance. You'll need new clothes. I can also throw in stock options, company car, and a retirement plan, not gold level, but good. I will of course need you on call 24hours a day 7 days a week", he says. You consider what he's offering. It's incredibly, but your imagination brings up disturbing images of what you might have to do to earn that position. It also brings up images of everything you could use the additional money on. "Well let's hear it, Mark. Is it yes or no", he says?  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
