Tanya invites you into her office, never a welcome prospect when the head of Human Resources wants a word.

"Ma'am." you give her a half-curtsey as you enter her office. Her flash of a smile suggests she caught your slip, as you extend your hand to shake hers.

Instead, she turns her back on you, inviting you to close the door behind yourself. Not a great sign, you think. One empty chair on the opposite side from hers, and the desk between you. This is going to be formal.

"Miss Huff." you ask, gesturing to the chair. She nods stiffly, gesturing for you to sit.

"Your work is up to standard, Jack." She observes, a compliment that's faint praise. The folder on her desk having your work history.

"Do you prefer Jack, or Mr. Hawkins?"

"Whichever..." you answer, a weak smile on your face, "How formal is this?" you ask.

"I have received a few complaints about your behaviour, and we need to address them."
