Exhausted from the hours of eating, you decide to take the easy route for now and find a cheap hotel room for $50 a night. You don't do much when you get in the room, other than unceremoniously passing out on the bed, rubbing your packed stomach.
The next morning, you're suspiciously hungry and your belly's completely empty, though it's gained a bit of girth that wasn't there before. The rest of your body is the same - you just feel slightly puffier here and there, guessing you've gained a little more than 10 pounds. You made good money, though, and it's an easy gig for now. You might even be able to land better tips today, now that you know how to serve and respond to your customers. As a result, you decide to take a risk and head back in for another day of work.
Things go easier today since you're there early enough for the tail end of breakfast. You meet your coworkers while you wait for your first table - they're all young and working there as their first job in Zaftig City, using it to gain weight for free to make the rest of their stays easier.
About an hour passes before your first table, and it's a mother and young son, both lions, who are only about 50 pounds over weight. They only order one ice cream sundae and finish the vast majority of it together, meaning you only need to take a few bites to finish things. Of course, that allows you to be free just in time for a group of two hippos and an elephant, all of them meeting their species' average size requirements. And appetites, too. You shudder as they each order four desserts, needing four trips to bring the dozen massive plates. Luckily, they each finish three plates; unluckily, that leaves three more for you to down. The cake is easy, but the pudding sticks to your ribs, and the ice cream makes you feel very bloated, about as full as you were yesterday.
The wolf comes over to you, more than willing to let you off for the day so you don't make yourself sick. Unfortunately, you've only made $60 on the day. If you stick around after a short break, you could make a good amount more - but you run the risk of getting another table of leftovers, which wouldn't just make you choke down more fattening meals but leave you nearly catatonic for who knows how long.
