Chapter #4

Find out why the German Shepherd was looking at...

    by: Czu Author IconMail Icon
Intrigued by the big, black furred German Shepherd, you make your way through the crowd towards him, and you go relatively unnoticed, as a small fox in the middle of all the riffraff of the protest.

He's turned his back to you, looking up at the Mayor's office and you get a good glimpse of his doughy rump. And damn. He's got some pretty nice curves... Now that you're closer you guess he's probably approaching 500 pounds. You find yourself blushing a bit just thinking about it.

Then he turns around and you find yourself face to face with him.

Nervously, you start. "Uh- hello. I'm wondering if you could help me out... I'm rather new to this city, and well... um..."

He blinks and says "Hey little guy. What do you need help with? I'm Titus. Honestly I'm kind of new to this scene as well. Always have been kind of big though." He says, patting his big gut proudly.

You think about it for a moment. You know it's going to sound ridiculous but... You can't help but think he looks trustworthy. "Okay. It may sound weird but, well... Honestly, I just woke up here. And I don't remember a thing... You guys just happened to be nearby and I thought I'd check out what you're doing. I don't know where to go or what to do... It's all just a blank."

Strangely, Titus didn't look as surprised as you'd imagined he'd be to hear you say that. He took a glance at City Hall and then back at you. "Well. You are a pretty lithe fellow. And honestly... You would have had to be living under a rock, or be from pretty far away not to have fattened up, even just a bit. Here in Zaftig, our food stores are packed and well... Some fellas think that there's something in the food that does it to ya. But who knows? Nobody seems to mind. In fact some furs are all about just getting bigger. That's why we're here." He says, gesturing to the rest of the crowd. "We're actually looking for feeders. Someone to take care of us... With people getting bigger, some are doing it quite competitively. Hell, all the hotshot celebrities in this city are the biggest, and they've got troupes of butlers. Takes a lot to get to that sort of level though. What we're demanding here at city hall is a bit of equality. If all of the feeders are going to the guys who are already the biggest, where does that leave the rest of us?"

Your ears twitch and your foxtail swishes as you listen to Titus tell about the state of the city. Then you remember how your eyes had met for that one awkward moment. "I saw you looking at me earlier... If you don't mind, uh... What was that about?"

Titus makes a face... Is he... blushing? "Well... Being a little guy like yourself, you're exactly what most of us are looking for, honestly. I thought about coming over to talk to you, but well... Sometimes I just get a little nervous... I was kinda surprised I was the first to see you."

You blush a bit at this. "Well... All of that helps fill in a few of the gaps... But even so, any ideas for what I can do now?"
