What's it like to be king?

Jack was still having a tough time soaking in everything going on. He had a lot of questions for Julie, but he wasn't sure where to start. Here she is, giant-sized compared to him, and yet he's in charge of her and a whole planet of others like her? It really made no sense... But since she was pretty adamant about him being king, he thought it would be best to ask about this role. After all, he had no idea how long he would be here, so he might as well get used to the job.
"So, if I am king," Jack started, "then what am I expected to do?"
Julie simply smiled.
"Your job is to ensure that peace and harmony exists throughout the kingdom. You must be a good and fair ruler for us. That is why we choose a king that is pure of heart."
Jack nodded.
"I see... But to ensure peace and harmony, what exactly must I do?"
"Within your land, you must treat the people fairly and kindly. We are peaceful by nature, but we do not allow ourselves to be pushed around. As for things beyond the kingdom, you are expected to keep the peace with other lands," said Julie.
"Wait, there's others?" asked Jack. "How many?"
"A few," said Julie. "More of this will be explained back at the castle. Your advisers can fill you in."
"I have a castle? And advisers?" asked Jack. He paused and stopped to think. "I think that I'm kinda starting to like this... But wait a minute, if everyone is giant-sized, how can I have a castle? Won't you have trouble fitting inside?"
Julie just giggled.
"Master Jack, the castle is built to accommodate people of our sizes. Worry not, though, because even though you are so much smaller, you can still be seen by everyone when you hold court."
"Oh dear," said Jack. "I'll have to hold court. I've never been a good public speaker."
"Do not be too concerned," said Julie. "The people will hang on your every word."
"That's what I'm afraid of..." said Jack.
Julie giggled again.
"I think it is time I took you to the castle. Shall we go?"
