"So Clover, what's with the new outfit?" Sam asked noticing Clover's new crop top.
"You like? It's the hottest item right now." Clover enthusiastically informed."It's from the most exclusive brand."
Alex leaned over to view Clover "I'll say! You must've paid a fortune for this."
"Duh, it's the hottest crop top out there."
"Always have to be the center of attention huh Clover." Sam teased.
"Gah, maybe some of us aren't satisfied with taking a backseat Sam!" Clover retorted. "I mean really, do you think someone as stylish and beautiful as me can not be the center of attention?"
Lifting her arms behind her head Clover struck an alluring pose.
"Ok ok I get it. I'm just not one of those 'stylish' girls who have to be the center of attention." said Sam.
Diverging everyone's attention, Alex raised her arm, pointing her manicured finger "Hey isn't that the guy you're chasing after?"
It was then that Ricky, the hottest guy at school, walked by. Many sought after the teenage heart throb however, all were turned down. But that wasn't enough to deter someone as ambitious as Clover.
"Huh?! Ricky!!!" Clover squealed. "Now's my chance."
The smitten Clover than sauntered over to Ricky prepared to knock him off his feet.
"Oh hey Ricky." Clover began posing in her crop top. "Say i was wondering if you're free tonight?'
"Sorry, I've already got plans with Mandy." Ricky declined.
"MANDY!!!" the girls blurted out.
"You're going out with Mandy! What could you possibly see in her?!" demand a livid Clover.
"Oh she's got an amazing body. I just want to squeeze her all day." Ricky chuckled.
Growling, Clover turned red with fury.
"Say where is Mandy, I haven't seen her in a few days." Alex inquired.
"Haven't you seen her lately? She's gotten pretty fa-"
A snarky laugh interrupted Sam.
"Hey Lossser." Mandy's words targeted a disgruntled Clover.
"Wha!? Mandy is that you?"
There next to the locker, Mandy stood a solid 100 pounds heavier. Accompanying her were two sycophantic girls each 50 pounds overweight. Making matters worse was that all three of them were wearing the same brand of crop tops as Clover.
"Oh look who it is. Dateless Clover, unfashionably skinny as expected." scoffed Mandy.
"Wait don't tell me.." Sam began
Clover exploded "Are you telling me Ricky is into-!!!"
"All this." Mandy gloated grabbing her doughy belly fat.
"Since when is fat in?!" yelled Clover.
"Jeez how dumb can you be? Everyone knows women are supposed to be curvy. So it only makes sense that fatter girls are more desirable. Plus nothing goes better with a crop top than belly fat." Mandy and her allies pinch their bulging sides to illustrate.
"Yeah, but how did you get fat so fast?" Alex asked.
"Yes you were rather petite a week ago." Sam added.
"Yuck! Don't bring up my past weight! Like I could stand being as SCRAWNY as your non-existent butts." Mandy exclaimed with her two chunky cohorts nodding in agreement.
"But surely you must've done something to gain all that weight." reasoned Sam, intrigued by the contemptuous girl's sudden expansion.
Letting out a nasally laugh, Many pulled out a sort of bar. "It's the latest product for female weight gain- Fantasy Bars- specially designed to pack on the pounds. I've been eating these all week."
Mandy then unwrapped the bar and took a bite.
"Now if you don't mind, I'm gonna go get my belly rubbed by Ricky. Later Loosssers."
Mandy walked off, her two minions following, intentionally swaying their wide hips for the defeated eyes.
"Just when you think you've seen everything." Alex uttered.
"You said it, who'd imagine someone like Mandy gaining weight like that." Sam said still lost in disbelief.
"Yeah, I mean who'd just go and pork up for some fad. Right Clover" Alex said turning to Clover "Clover?"
Sullen, Clover clenched her fists and turned towards her partners in espionage "I won't lose to her." the determination in her eyes quite apparent.
"Uh oh" Alex said
"Don't tell me..."Sam trailed.
"I'm gonna get me some of those bars and get fat." Clover vowed.
