Animaniacs, one of Cody's favorite shows, was on. However, after the usual intro, he noticed something wasn't quite right. Namely, that there were no characters on the screen. He walked towards the front of the TV to see if something was wrong, only to see Yakko walk on-screen.
"Say, where is everybody?" the cartoon creature asked.
"You're telling me..." Cody mumbled to himself.
"Perhaps you could be of assistance?" Yakko asked.
"Wait, what?" Cody stammered.
Before he could figure out what was happening, Yakko extended his arm out of the TV, grabbed Cody by his shirt collar, and pulled him right in.
Cody woke up, thinking what had happened was just a dream. However, when he saw the rather cartoonish forest surrounding him, he had a feeling this was no hallucination.
"Hey, wakey wakey! I didn't pull you in here to watch you laze around!" an all too familiar voice beckoned. Cody turned around and saw that Yakko was standing right behind him.
"What the hell?" Cody cried.
"Hey, watch it, this is a family show." Yakko remarked.
"Did you drag me in here?" Cody asked.
Yakko stared off to the side, looking at nobody in particular. "I know some of our fans aren't too bright, but this takes the cake."
"Wh-what's going on?" Cody stumbled.
"Either you've had one too many munchies, or you've got some kind of magic TV." Yakko replied.
"Well, how did this happen?" Cody asked. "Where is everyone?"
"Not sure," Yakko answered, "But maybe you can help with that last part..."
Cody wasn't sure what Yakko had planned, but had no time to answer when...
