Johanna replaces all of Dawn's clothes with...

She knew her daughter's wardrobe inside and out. Johanna had gotten her daughter out of the house just so she could go into her bedroom and replace her clothes with a couple of sizes larger. She had snipped out the labels so Dawn wouldn't be able to check the size, and she had even washed them several times, to give them more of a worn look and feeling. Humming softly to herself, Johanna piled all of Dawn's old, small clothes into a black bin bag, taking it downstairs with her once everything was back in it's rightful place. Johanna put the bag out with the rest of the garbage, since as far as she was concerned, her daughter would never be needed them again.
She sighed once she got back inside, moving to wash her hands. Was she going over the top? Johanna shook her head, of course she wasn't. She was just willing to do anything that she could to get her daughter to stay at home with her. If getting her to gain weight and become too unfit to be willing to travel, then that was just what she had to do. Johanna smiled to herself reassuringly, drying her hands on a tea towel. Everything that she was doing was all for Dawn's benefit.
Later that evening, just hours after her daughter had eaten the greater part of a full roast dinner, Johanna sat down with Dawn in front of the television, with a bowl of popcorn. There was some sort of film on, something about a love story, one that Dawn was genuinely engrossed in. It was fifteen minutes later that Dawn had managed to polish off the entire bowl by herself, her eyes not leaving the screen for a single moment. Johanna looked thoughtful, before moving to refill it again, this time keeping one eye on her daughter. Again, Dawn picked at it throughout the film, not seeming to notice just how much she was putting away.
Five bowls later, Johanna was both pleased and surprised to see that though Dawn was wearing the bigger sized pyjamas, there was already a notable strain at the front of them.
