This choice: Drake reaches the closet  •  Go Back...
Chapter #7

A Temporary Antidote

    by: wolffurry Author IconMail Icon
Drake gets up and reaches in the closet. You watch as he starts drinking a whole bottle of something. When he puts the bottle down, empty, he walks back over to you. "Phew! That could've been ugly!" he says, all the weird changes on his body completely gone. You can't help but wonder what he just drank back there. "Hey Drake." "Yeah? What is it?" "What was that you drank back there?" "Oh...um, well, it's just, uh, my medicine..." You can already tell he was lying the way he keeps fidgeting around. You get up from the bleachers and walk closer to him, trying to get a better look at him. "Oh really? So you drink an entire bottle of medicine everyday?" "...Yes. That's how bad my allergies are." Drake was looking away from you now. "I don't believe it. No one has allergies that bad. Even if it causes red scales to spread all over, and make your voice change too." Drake was staring at the door now, as if hoping someone would come and stop the conversation. But no one came, heck no one even passed by. "I...I...I..." "Drake...Tell me the truth...What are you?" Drake gave out a sigh and looked at you in the eye. "...I'm a dragon."

The two of you were sitting on the bleachers again, with Drake telling you about himself. "I was born as a dragon, but I was completely alone for some reason. I think I might have been abandoned by my parents, or my egg got lost somehow. I don't really know. All I remember is that Wil found me one night, and I've been so loyal to him ever since. Even though he treats me like his own brother, sometimes...He would treat me in a completely different way." You suddenly remember the horrible images you imagined earlier. "You mean he would start hurting you?" "Yeah...But I don't blame him. I think there's something wrong inside him, something that might be causing him to do that. Maybe..." You were going to ask him some more questions until the door suddenly burst open, Luke standing there.

"Drake, you're being summoned by our master. It's time for our daily meeting." You feel the intense cold feeling, but it's not as strong as it was last time. "Alright, I'm coming!" Drake said before Luke left the gym. "Sorry, I gotta go. Remember this though, Luke is much more loyal to Wil than I am. So be careful around him!" Drake left the gym as well, leaving you alone inside. You see the closet wide open. "Looks like he forgot to close the cabinet door..." You walk over to it to see a large number of bottles inside, all full of different colored fluids. Some bottles were labeled in english, but most of the bottles were labeled with a bunch of runes you've never seen before. "Does he have his own draconic language or something?" You shrug your shoulders as you look for the empty bottle Drake had drunk, but it seems to be hidden in the back. Oh well, guess you'll just take your chances and get a random one and hope for the best.

You have the following choices:
