As Josh was trying to get somewhere safe, he encountered a potential threat. Well, a group of potential threats. They were a bunch of gigantic ants, significantly bigger than him, and they were all scurrying towards him. At his normal size, they'd be harmless to Josh and wouldn't look scary at all. But now that he was this size, he could see the details of the creatures that made them look horrifying to him. And, of course, they could chase after him and try to eat him or something. So, Josh started to run away and moved to the right side of where the insects were, but they were faster than him and quickly caught up to him. Luckily, the ants didn't seem interested in attacking Josh and they just ran past him.
