Let Kate talk to Sandra alone.

"Thanks." you say. "I didn't want to upset her so I said that I believed her."

"So you let her get upset with me instead." She doesn't really sound upset.

"I didn't plan it that way." you insist. "But now you mention it, it works out quite well."

She laughs. "Okay. I'll talk to her."

You say goodbye and try not to stress about Sandra until you hear back from Kate.

Instead you hear from Sandra. She calls you a few hours later.

"Why did you tell Kate that I'm a witch?" she demands.

"I didn't tell her you are a witch." you clarify. "I told her you think you're a witch."

"So yo don't believe me?" she asks.

"Of course not." you say.

"Why did you lie to me?" she asks.

"I didn't want to upset you." you explain. "I'm worried about you."

"You think I'm crazy?" she asks.

"I think you might need help." you put it in different terms.

"I shouldn't have expected you to believe me." she says. "I guess it would have sounded crazy. Maybe we should talk in person."

"Okay." you say. "I'll come over."

"No need." she says. then she suddenly appears in front of you.

"What?" you stare at her with her mouth open. "You really are a witch?"

"Yep." she sits next to you.

"What did you tell Kate?" you ask.

"The truth." she says. "She's my best friend."

"Did she believe you?" you ask.

"She did after I made her clothes disappear." She says with a smile.

"Wait till I'm around next time you want do that." you joke, causing her to hit you playfully with a pillow.

Everything seems fine until a few days later. You are having lunch with Sandra when her phone rings.

"Hello." She answers. "Yes, that's me." ... "No I'm not." ... "Who did you hear that from?" ... "Sorry. I'm not interested." She hangs up.

"What was that?" you ask.

"Some TV show." she says. "Kate told them that I'm a witch. They want to interview me."

"You should call Kate." you say.

"I don't want to talk to her." she says. "I'm too angry."

You have the following choices:

1. Insist that she call Kate.

2. Call Kate yourself.
