The clerk could feel the crick developing in his neck as he looked up and up at the woman. He dearly wished that they would place a chair on the other side of his desk. That way the people he had to deal with could sit down and save him this pain. This woman was worst than most. Not that see was rude,oh no, she was unfailingly polite. It was just that she was taller than most men. Broad shouldered and well muscled beneath her leathers, the woman carried a sword and knife openly on her hip. Her long golden hair pulled into a tight braid contrasting with her darkly tanned skin.
"Name?"
"Wyna Brokenshield." Her voice was low and husky, though the clerk was sure she could raise it to a roar to rival a dragon's. He had seen a few warrior's in his time, on both sides of the trade. This woman was definitely one of them.
"And which slave did you purchase?"
