Rarity sighed, looking at herself in the mirror, she gently touched her flank with a hoof, frowning as it sunk in deeper than she would have liked, quite a bit deeper.
recently, Rarity knew she'd been putting on weight, and it was due to a certain someone she knew who kept leaving her love notes and baskets full of treats she found irresistible. and the worst part about her secret admirer, she knew exactly who it was.
Rarity sighed. "spike's such a kind one...but this needs to stop..." she said to herself, looking at her chubbier form in the mirror once more, before leaving, walking through her boutique, slowly flipping the sign to closed as her workday was finished, before pulling the shade down and trotting over to her sofa, sprawling out on it to relax.
then it came, the noise Rarity had been dreading that day. the bell outside ringing. moaning, she got back up off the couch, walking slowly to the door, opening it and seeing, with a sigh, another treat filled basket, chocolate, pastries and cakes filling the basket to bursting. Another gift from her 'secret' admirer. Sighing again, she slowly picked the basket up in her teeth, not wanting to use her magic and be lazy, she carried it inside, setting it on the table before going to her couch and relaxing once more.
its not that she didn't think what spike was doing was sweet, she thought it was adorable, it was just that it was murder on her figure. still, the way he did it did really make her feel special.
