A wise mare once said that "Love can take on many different forms, big or small."
And for the newly crowned Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle... Love has an oddly precarious way of showing itself.
We begin this erotically romantic tale moments after the beginning of Twilight's official coronation as a newly christened Alicorn, as she stood before the crowd of Ponies alongside her mentor, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna.
However, unlike her noble mentor and the Princess of the Night, Twilight had a more...let's say "robust" physique. And when we mean by robust, we mean "Rotund". What Twilight lacked in height as an Alicorn, she undoubtedly accommodated this conundrum with her weight. Sure, she was always know to be a rather "curvier" Pony than most mares in Equestria, but when her friends' destinies were swapped (along with consuming the calorie-rich delicacies of the Apple Family for an extended period of time), anypony would certainly notice that Twilight had undoubtedly "ballooned" in size, as they say.
But when she had ascended into an Alicorn, her increased weight stuck out like a sore hoof. However, Twilight had become accustomed to the stares she would get at her bulk, but now she knew that she would somewhat scrutinized by her girth now that she was an official Princess.
And yet, as she made her honestly humble speech, one mare stared keenly and profusely upon Twilight's burgeoning girth jutting out within the confines of her dress; The famed Fashionista of Ponyville known as "Rarity".
To the average onlooker and resident of Ponyville, Rarity was merely gawking at the intricate designs of Princess Twilight's gown. But in reality, Rarity was focused only on the copious amounts of flab Twilight carried upon her now Alicorn physique. Like a doctor monitoring a patient's progress, Rarity easily noticed how fat her mauve friend was getting prior to her ascension.
However, as she got to know Twilight better, the stark white Unicorn mare began to develop..."certain feelings", shall we say.
Feelings of affection.
Feelings of romance.
Feelings...of love.
Suffice to say, Rarity soon realized that she was in love with her best friend, just before Twilight's ascension into a full-fledged Alicorn.
In her mind, just as Twilight reached Celestia before her and many ponies, Rarity now knew that she had to come clean and confess her feelings for the rotund Alicorn Princess.
Otherwise, she wouldn't get over herself.

Shortly after Twilight's humble speech, the festivities soon began in full swing. Pinkie was excited as always, Fluttershy was spending time with Discord, Applejack and Rainbow Dash continued their friendly rivalry as usual. And Rarity herself was keeping herself temporarily preoccupied as to avoid looking conspicuous.
From there, as she finished off her glass of red wine, she soon began searching for the rotund Twilight Sparkle, where she soon found her...
