Alex defends Tom from a couple of beach bullies

Tom was looking around the beach as Alex went to get drinks. He saw his friend Danny. "Hey, Danny!" The two boys started talking, when a shadow fell over them. Tom turned around, and he recognized Patrick, a bully from their school. Patrick was a heavyset football player, powerful arms and legs, but lacking in definition and trim. "Hey, twerps." Patrick rumbled. " what's going on? " Patrick was wearing a t-shirt that was tight around his arms and chest, but large around his waist to hide his gut. "N-nothing." Stammered Danny and Tom in unison.

Just then, an even larger shadow fell across Patrick. It was Alex, back from the drinks stand.

"Hey, fatso! Leave my friends alone." Alex put the drinks down, and squared up to Patrick. "Who're you calling fatso?" Said Patrick, but he wasn't fooling anyone. Alex was taller, wider, stronger and more defined than Patrick. 'still though, thought Tom. 'better make sure.' He fired the wand at Alex to make him bigger, but he was jostled by Danny backing away, and the shot hit…
