Starckler, the Suction Pokemon!

         Amethyst grinned and eagerly grabbed the small Pokeball containing Starckler. She quickly tossed the ball and there was a bright flash before the young, blue, octopus Pokemon appeared, rubbing its eyes as it peered around, eying its surroundings before making eye contact with its new trainer.
"He's all yours," the Professor yawned before shooing the two of them to the lab doors. "I want one more moment of your time, if I could?"
         Amethyst nodded, adjusting her sun visor to better view the Pokemon Professor.
"I have a friend over in the Kanto Region, his name is Professor Oak. He asked me to pick the first three trainers who entered my lab to be responsible for this..." she explained, holding a small, red device out to her. Engraved on the front were the words Pokedex in black writing. "The Pokedex is a complex machine that works as a digital encyclopedia for Pokemon. For each Pokemon you catch, the Pokedex automatically records data upon it. To help you along, I want you to have these..." the Professor added, handing Amethyst 5 empty Pokeballs and a Map of the region.
         Amethyst smiled widely, placing the Map in her turquoise satchel, as well as the empty Pokeballs. She was anticipating the start of her journey! The professor noticed this and shoved the girl out of her lab.
"Start your damned journey already! That Pokedex isn't going to fill itself, y'know!" she hollered as Amethyst sprinted onwards to the awaiting Curina Region.
