"Your Aunt Matilda" states her Mom "She is going on a trip tomorrow and won't be back for 2 weeks. That means she will not be here for your birthday so she wants you to stop by her house today and pick up your present."
"Do I have to?" whines Sara. "She always gives me something stupid that I usually throw away as soon as she leaves. Like that shrunken head I got last year. The year before that was that petrified monkey's paw. You know I hate going to her house. It has a funky smell that sticks to my clothes and hair for a week."
"Its called sage and yes you have to go" explains Stacy. "Matty may be strange but she's your aunt and she means well. It will only take 5 minutes and then you can be out the rest of the day. Tell, you what, you do this and then you can have that slumber party you've always been wanting. Just make sure that Will sleeps on the couch."
After calling Will and Tina to invite them to the sleep over, Sara heads out. She leaves her bike and decides to walk there, since she only lives 6 blocks away. While strolling down the street, she reminisces about how creepy her aunt is. Little did she know, Matilda is a real live witch.
A witch, really? I would have neeever guessed. In case you are as dumb as you think I am, THAT was sarcasm. So this is where the silly and cliche chapters begin. Let me sum up whats going to happen so no one has to read any further. A witch casts a spell on me or gives me an enchanted object, blah blah blah. I start to change into something strange, blah blah blah. My friends and family think that I've always been that way, blah blah blah. I start acting like whatever I've changed into, blah blah blah. At this point the story goes stagnant because no one can come up with an original idea. End of story. There you go ,Jacknife, now you don't have to burn out your last few brain cells trying to write the rest of this farce.
Sara arrives at her aunt's house and knocks on the door.
But you're going to anyway, Good Grief.
A wild haired middle age woman with a crooked nose and warts Just say witch and get it over with all over her face answers the door. "Come in my child, come in." squeals Matilda in a nails-on-a-chalkboard voice. "I've been waiting for you." She has a medium sized gift box in her hands. "Don't be shy, girl" she cackles "open your gift."
Matilda practically shoves the gift into Sara's hands.
