And soon enough, somepony does answer!

He's a red Earth stallion with a straight, orange mane and tail cut somewhat short.
His hooves are yellow and he has some freckles on his face.
He is wearing a yoke around his neck and his cutie mark is half a green apple.

"Hello, sir, my name is Butter Magic, what's your name?"

"Big Macintosh", he says in a deep voice with a Southern American accent.

"Pleased to meet you, may I buy some apples?"

"Yup," he says.

What kind of apples do you buy?
