Reluctantly accepting that the holidays are over you get out of bed and follow your mother to the dining table.
On it you find a bowl of cereal, a glass of orange juice and a pile of textbooks. It looks like your mother is taking this seriously. You reason that it's still better than going to school, at least you can stay in you PJs.
After you finish breakfast you take your dishes to the dishwasher and return to find your mother already at the table, with an open textbook in front of your seat.
You sit down and start your lesson. Your mother isn't as easy on you as you'd hoped but it's not too bad. Plus you can watch TV during lunch. You could never do that at school.
The best part is that your mother doesn't set homework. You guess it wouldn't make sense, since you're already home. When your lessons are done your time is your own.
Many of your friends have left for different schools but there are a few from you class who are also staying home to be taught by their parents. If their classes are finished too they might be at the park.
