Still in you PJs, you head to the dining table. Your mother is there, looking impatient. In front of your seat is a bowl of cerial and an glass of orange juice. Behind those is a pile of textbooks. You sit down and start eating the cereal. It's going a bit soggy. Maybe you shouldn't have waited so long.
"Hurry up." Your mother insists. "We should have started by now."
"What's the rush?" You ask.
"I don't want your education to suffer because you're being homeschooled." She explains. "I need to make sure that you keep up with what you'd be doing if you were at a highschool."
You soon finish your breakfast and clear the dishes. Then your mother starts you on your lessons. She makes you work hard, probably harder than she would have if you'd gotten up when she asked.
When it's time for lunch you are thankful for the break. You settle down in front of the TV. You start to feel pressure on your bladder. You could go to the toilet now but it's not urgent. You'd rather not waste your break when you could use it as an excuse to get away from study for a few minutes in the afternoon.
