"Okay." you agree as you begin removing your clothes.
"Good girl." Louise watches you undress. Once you are down to your underpants she observes. "Oh dear. You can't wear those yucky boy's underpants under such a pretty dress." She opens her handbag and pulls out a pair of white panties. "You can borrow these."
You slide your underpants off and cover your privates with your hands, causing Louise to giggle. "Don't be shy." She holds out the panties for you to step into and then pulls them up over your bottom. "Okay. Arms up." she pulls the dress on over your head and fusses with the skirts until she is satisfied they are sitting right. "Just adorable."
You look at your reflection in the mirrored doors of the wardrobe. You are surprised to find yourself in agreement with Louise's evaluation. Adorable. You turn red, only adding to the effect.
Louise slides open the wardrobe door where she find a pair of shoes, obviously left earlier by Rachael. They are, naturally little-girl style shoes and are made from shiny white leather. "Sit on the bed." she directs you and slides them onto your feet before fastening the buckles. "All done." she declares, helping you up and pulling you toward the door.
By the time you remember that leaving the room means other people will see you like this she has already led you into the, thankfully empty, hallway. Then you are in the lift.
The lift doors open into the lobby. People give you confused looks as Louise leads you out of the hotel and back to your car. You can only stare at the ground and dread the reaction when people who actually know you see you dressed like this.
You are thankful to reach the relative privacy of the car but you feel ridiculous driving dressed like a giant flower girl. You actually find that you have to remind yourself that you are an adult and are allowed to drive.
You pull next to the curb at Rachael's house to drop Louise off.
"Thank you Annie." she gives you a kiss on the cheek. "See you at the church."
