The other woman scoops you up in her hand before you have a chance to get a good look at her. She presses you snuggly against her palm, enough to immobilize you but not enough to hurt you.

“Thank you,” she tells your initial captor. “Don’t ever open palm him in public like that. You never know who might see him, or what he might see.”

“Sorry,” the other woman replies.
