Under the Bar

Now that you’re safe under this enormous counter, you stop running and analyze your situation. Your below the bar counter for a restaurant. In front of you is an empty stool with the space curved inwards to accommodate people’s feet. Under a narrow but crawlable gab on the other side stands the bartender, filling up a glass for another customer.

A woman comes and sits at the stool directly in front of you. She sets down her backpack, blocking a good view of the world in front of you. The bartender comes over to hand her a menu and ask what she would like.
