You catch your breath and look around to form a plan. You realize that you are at the front desk for a gate, in the space under the desk. In front of you is a giant flight clerk, busy looking at her computer. On the other side is an irate woman.
“What do you mean the flight is cancelled?” she shouts. “I need to get there today to meet my friends!”
“I’m sorry for the inconvenience from the weather,” the clerk apologizes. “Let me see what the next flight we can put you on.”
“This is some fucking bullshit,” she interjects.
“I understand,” the clerk responds.
You notice a large line of people forming behind this woman, each of whom are distraught from their flight cancelling. The clerk looks calm but busy as she fields everyone’s rerouting. You’ll need to get someone’s help, but what’s the best strategy?
