"What the hell was that?" Adam asked in confusion, staring at the broken statue on the ground.
"I have no clue." Ken said.
As they all wondered what had just happened, they were unaware of what they had done. The statue was a container for a mischievous Spirit, who had the power to swap things between humans, and could swap lives, wardrobes, relationships, personalities, and work/school between people. And now that it was free, it was ready to do just that. But first, it decided to give "thanks" to the group that had freed it, and give them the honor of being its first victim. But rather than just swapping amongst them, he decided he would swap one of them with someone else that was nearby.
It looked around, seeing a young girl of about 8 years old walking out of a house with her mother and an older girl of 18. Yes, one of those three would be perfect.
As Bill and the others stood there staring and talking about the statue, there was suddenly a flash of light for a brief instant, an when it had cleared, the change was done.
