Quickly saying your farewells, you start your long trek to the city you'd come from. You're handed a large bounty for the many jobs you'd done for the village, incliding the Goblin hunting, and your equipment; within a few hours of waking you're gone and marching onwards.
A few days of nothingless pass by as you walk. You pass small huts, passing travellers and even a war-band or two but nothing eventful happens and soon you're in the mountains. According to the villagers, going right through them was by far the fastest way to the city, albiet more dangerous yet that was no problem for veteran fighters and experianced warriors like you.
The moutains were cold, wind biting into you as you march down the path. Luckily for you, the local Ranger's Guild had spent years building a route through the moutains for travellers. It had been cut into the cliff-face with strong wood and stone bridges jumping over the gaps between the moutains, long ravines cascading down below. The area around you was gorgeous, lush forests and meadows all around you for as far as you can see. Yet these marvels had become the normal for hours of walking at this point and it was getting weary. You'd do anything for something to break up your day at least a little.
Then you hear it.
A sound ahead.
You slow down, being sure to stay quieter as you turn a corner, peeking around. You see a carrage, surrounded by bodies and splattered with blood. By the looks of it, it had been ambushed but by who? Your question is answered when you see three orcs talking to each other. Two of them are males, one had a scar on its face and the other a large black mohawk. Both are clad in a mixture of plate, fur and leather armour, mismatched and pieced together. The woman, however, was differant. She was dressed in a darkened metal bikini that was accented by sliver fur and a silver metal lining. She had a large black bow on her back, a quiver of arrows with it and a silver and black blade on her hip. By the looks of it, it was a very well-made item.
slowly, you retreat back into cover and consider your three options; you could either try to sneak past them, lure them out and kill them one at a time or you could attack and use the element of surprise to your advantage.
