Figuring that was enough excitement for one day, you decided to head back home. Your parents were also out on errands, leaving just your 12-year old sister around, which meant you didn't have to explain much.
"Phew," you sighed as you got home and closed the door. Why did you feel so exhausted? The day was barely half done too.
"Oh hello," Katie said as she was looking up from a show she was watching. "You weren't gone long."
"Yeah....uh...." you stammered a little bit. "It was boring, so I came right back."
"Oh, that's a shame. I would have liked to see what was there," Katie smiled.
'Not sure about that,' you thought to yourself, fingering the little piercing in your pocket.
Not wanting to answer any more questions, you quickly went upstairs, making Katie raise an eyebrow a little. You went straight to the bathroom, wanting a little privacy, just to get your mind off of things.
"Ugh," you sighed as you closed the door, just trying to catch your breath.
The bathroom wasn't exactly ideal, but hey it was at least quiet. You sometimes would duck in here to get away from everyone for a bit.
"At least I can...AHHHHHH!"
Your eyes suddenly widened as you looked at the mirror in the bathroom, seeing the golden-clad bikini woman staring at you straight again, looking the same as she did before. Once again, every action you took was mimiced by her, freaking you out even more. You turned the water on and splashed some of it on your face, hoping to dispell the illusion....
It seemed like it worked...given your normal reflection stared at you once you were done.
"I'm going crazy," you sighed, drying your face off. This was going to take years off your life at this rate. First there was technically stealing that piercing, and now this. Maybe it was guilt?
Well, as you went back to your room and closed the door, you hoped to settle down.
