After some serious thrashing, Leroy took a brake outside a store. It sold cheap-quality clothing at low-budget prices, along with make-up, shoes or whatever batch of cheap goods the owner had gotten its hands on. He looked inside and in a flash, he spotted Miss Acord walking through the aisles. He leaned back against the wall in fear of being spotted. He did not even want to have to acknowledge her existence at this this time. Not outside school hours.
For a moment he thought quickly departing this scene would be his best option, but then he looked at the whip in his hand. It might have been his imagination, but it was as if the thing hummed softly. Then a thought entered his head. It was quite unexpected, but it made him grin instantly. He was getting pretty skilled with the whip, to the point where he could sign his name with the tip on a soft concrete wall. What if he could give Miss Acord a scare for once...
He casually walked into the store, making sure Acord didn't see him. He approached her as she was rummaging through a pile of bargain socks. She was still wearing her teaching-suit, making her look all the more menacing, even outside the classroom.
He was readying himself to thrash and quickly run away, when she suddenly turned around. "Leroy Rogers! I thought I saw you. As if it isn't enough I have to deal with you in school." She raised an eyebrow, making her look even more menacing "What are you doing with that whip?"
Frozen mid-stride, Leroy swallowed. "I.. Erm... Hi Miss Acord. Just... shopping... for socks!" He said as he grabbed a couple of socks and clutched them nervously. Why was he doing this again? "Hahaha! This whip? I was just practicing. Here, see this!" He walloped, and in the blink of an eye the whip uncurled in the direction of Miss Acord. There was a loud clack, and a tiny red stripe appeared on her forehead.
-"Whoah. Ouch!" Miss Acorn screamed out. "Watch it!" She clutched her forehead, half expecting to see blood on her fingers. But the cut had disappeared almost as soon as it had formed. A sudden lightheaded feeling was coming over her.
-"Heh. I'm sorry to scare you, Miss Acorn." Then he observed her as she zoned out. An absent look in her eyes.
