"Megan!! You're awake! Good! We're all going down to the beach in a little while. Do you want to come?" Hannah was blabbering, but wait... Megan? That doesn't sound anything like Aaron... Sure, Hannah had lots of weird nicknames for me (Crappy Jack, Lumpus Grumpus, and Mr. Fluffy being the latest ones), but never a name. "Get out of my room, Nuahroo." Nuahroo was my only nickname for her, other than Mushroomhead. Long story. Wait a second, what was wrong with my voice? It was high-pitched! This was a really elaborate joke.
She frowned, muttering something about sisters, which she has none, and flounced out of the room. Still in bed, I stretched my arms above my head, glancing at them and then yelping in surprise when I saw someone had shaved them, and... made them smaller? I was confused. I climbed out of bed, and stood in front of the full length mirror. Huh. A girl. I waved my right hand and the girl in the mirror waved her left in perfect synchrony. I looked down, and it was the body of a thin, tall girl with short black hair that greeted me. A wave of confusion, and then panic rose over me. Suddenly Arnold walked into the room. He was definitely not someone I wanted to see right now.
"Hey sexy! You coming to the beach? If not, I'll stay with you. In fact, let's do that. Just you and me. Yes, that sounds better than a beach. There's no privacy on a beach." As he was talking, he was not looking at my face, but my boobs, and I realized that I also was going to have to deal with him. And he kept walking closer to me, and I realized I was only wearing a short nightgown. I was creeped out. I wondered if he realized how gross he sounded, and asked him that. "Feisty, are we?" He kept walking toward me, and I couldn't help myself. I kept moving back. I wondered why I hadn't realized how much of a creep he was when I was a guy.
"What about Christina?" I asked, hoping to bring him to his senses. He looked at me, surprised, and told me they broke up six months ago. But it seemed to do the trick, and he left the room, leaving me to shudder.
