"Hey what's that?" She asks, noting the remote.

"What? Oh, this? It's just a gadget." You put it away, following her inside.

"So what is it? Should I get mom?" She gives you a concerned frown.

"Oh. Uh. Yeah. Fine." You say, fingering the remote in your pocket. As soon as she turns around once again, you point it at her and press...
