As Charlotte recovered from her first bout of morning sickness (luckily not getting any on her uniform, somehow) she felt a sensation shoot through her belly. It wasn't unpleasant, more like a small tickle that rippled outward from her belly button. Charlotte would have dismissed it, had she not been looking downwards from throwing up.
Her belly slowly, but steadily, pushed outwards in front of her now very wide eyes. It strained her shirt and her belt, making both overly snug. Then it stopped. Charlotte pressed her hands on either side of her larger stomach, confirming it was real and several inches bigger all the way around. She would have probably continued on like that, her brain trying to process what just happened, if she wasn't assaulted by an intense hunger. It nearly made her cry out and, though she didn't vocalize, her face contorted into a silent scream before she regained some more composure.
Whatever had happened, she needed to get something to eat. NOW.
Disciplined be damned.
Parade be damned.
All that mattered is that she stuffed herself to the brim.
