For his whole life, Steve had longed for this moment and he could not wait any longer. He knew that the nanobots would start promoting muscle growth, but its progress could be hasten by working out. He decided to do some push-ups and see how effective the nanobots was.
After 3 reps, Steve was struggling to push himself up from the ground due to his lacking of physical strength. However, after a few exertion, he felt blood rushed into his chest and arms, and suddenly he gained a surge of strength to push himself up again from the ground. The following reps was getting easier, and soon he had successfully done 20 reps, which was impossible before he had injected himself with the nanobots. His form was getting better while he was continuing doing push-ups and without realizing, he had already done more than 100 reps. Steve was totally surprised that he was not tired at all and he felt that he could do it all the day. However, he thought that it was already enough and he decided to stop the push-ups and did some checking to himself.
Steve stood up from the floor and felt the most incredible pump in his chest and arms area. He could not help himself but immediately started touching his chest. To his amazement, he could actually feel his pecs, which was totally non-existent before! He could not believe that it was true and started to remove his lab coat so that he could have a real look on it. He was totally exhilarated when he saw his own pecs pushed out from his previously concave chest for the very first time. Those pecs were no where as big as the jock's in the college, but yet they were striated! He swore he could actually see every muscle fiber through the paper-thin-skin. The little flab on his chest was totally melted away after doing the push-ups. He tried to flex his pecs and overwhelmed with excitement when he saw his pecs jumping up and down.
"IT WORKED! IT ACTUALLY WORKED!!!" he cried out, jumping around with joy.
