Miss Ashley and Reginald disappeared into the woods while Ash and Brock continued to Celadon City. Misty trailed behind a bit looking back over her shoulder. She wasn't sure, but she could swear that she heard that the girl was missing her drowzee. Misty looked at Ash, who had Hypno in his arms, and thought, “Ash can be kind of a dummy sometimes but I've never known him to be so careless about his pokemon. Not only did he misplace Hypno, but he didn't even go out looking for him? Now that I think about it, that's really out of character for him. If something did happen like that did happen, he would have been out there looking just like that girl.”
“Hey Ash, when was it that you and Hypno got separated?” Misty questioned.
“Look, I feel bad enough as it is, you don't have to rub it in!” Ash yelled back.
“I just want to know, when was it?” Misty continued.
“Come on Misty, give it a rest,” Brock added, tired of their fighting.
She was quite for a bit but she couldn't shake this uncomfortable feeling. She just had to be sure. “You guys go on with out me, I need to check something. I'll meet you guys at the Celadon Pokecenter at 2:30 tomorrow.” she said, then took off after the two travelers.
“What do you think that was about?” Brock asked Ash, looking back at Misty.
Not turning around, Ash just said, “No idea, girls are weird.”

It took Misty longer to find the pair than she expected but eventually, she caught up to them.
“Hey, wait up!” Misty called out to Miss Ashley and Reginald.
“Hello again, can we help you?” Miss Ashley asked a panting Misty.
“I think so *breath* you said you were looking for your drowzee, right?” Misty weezed.
“Yes, did you see him?” Miss Ashley asked hopefully.
“I'm not sure. When did you lose him?” Misty inquired.
“He wondered off into the woods by himself almost three weeks ago. He would sneak out sometimes to battle wild pokemon. I've tried so hard to give him toys to entertain him with, I would take im for walks in a stroller, I'd enter him into contests but no matter how I tried, he still would go out to fight. He is so fragile, I hate that he puts himself into danger like that. What if...what he really got hurt this time.” Miss Ashley started to tear up.
“Pokemon are very strong creatures, I sure he could take care of himself,” Misty tried to comfort Miss Ashley.
“Not my Drowzee. You see, when I was younger, Mother and Reginald took me to a store to buy my first pokemon. I was ever so excited that I hardly slept the night before. The owner showed me so many impressive looking pokemon, I didn't know what to pick. When we got to the pen of drowzees there was just one. The owner told us that he was the runt of the litter and the last one from that batch of eggs. It turned out that one of his leg's never fully developed while in his egg but I didn't care. My mother tried to talk me out of it, but I made my decision. He needed someone and I needed him. He's my best friend, and that's why I wouldn't let him fight, I don't want anything to happen to him.” Sniffed a watery eyed Miss Ashley.
“I'm not 100% but I think I know were your pokemon is,” Misty said, thinking back to the Limping Hypno.

Brock and Ash were not too far from the city when Brock asked if they could take a quick break. After carrying both Pikachu and Hypno, Ash was happy to sit down for a little bit. Brock walked off by himself while Ash sat on a log, putting Pikachu and Hypno down on either side of him. Though Hypno enjoyed being in Ashley's arms again, she really jostled him around while she was walking. Not smooth and graceful like normal.
“Not much longer guys, then we can rest in the city.” Ash said to his pokemon. The city, Hypno thought, they were bound to me a lot of people there and he still hadn't helped Ashley remember her manners. He pulled out his pendulum and shook Ash's arm. Ash looked over and once again, was in a trance.
“I want you to think a back to the last time you saw someone curtsey. When you introduce yourself to people, I want you to curtsey and greet them sweetly, okay?” Ash nodded in understanding after thinking about meeting miss Ashley. That's good, now she won't accidentally be rude to people. Thinking about it, Hypno decided that now would be a good time to help her with her gracefulness as well. “I would also like you to move more gracefully. When ever you walk and move, try and be as ladylike as you can, understand?” Again Ash nodded. Pleased that he was being so helpful, Hypno released Ashley from her trance.
Once Ash was free, he instantly sat up and crossed his legs at the knee. He placed one hand on his knee and brushed a bit of hair behind his ear. | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
