"Look at this!" Michael exclaimed, revealing the winning hand. "You don't see this every day. That means I get to pick for this round." Michael glanced at each of his friends sitting around the table, wondering what kind of swap he could perform.
Suddenly, Philipp asked, "Now that Anna left, is it still possible to swap something with her?" His mouth formed a slow but boisterous grin. Josie stared at him suspiciously, "What is it you would want from her?" He smirked, "oh, nothing really. That is, nothing that I can't still win as a consolation prize here." Josie sighed.
"It says here that you can only swap things with people currently in the game." Michael said, scanning the manual quickly. "I've got an idea. I want to swap handedness with Josie!"
"Handedness? La-ame!" Melody piped up in a song-song voice.
"Michael is left-handed and I am right-handed. So this should be a fun little swap!" Josie mentioned politely, looking into her boyfriend's eyes lovingly.
The group waited for a moment. "Did it work? Go get a pencil and paper or something and try writing on it." Jeremy suggested. Suddenly, they got up from the table, as Josie and Michael went to get a paper. Melody and Jeremy trailed behind, as Philipp lagged behind at the table.
"He-he-he. You're all mine now, Josie!" Philipp thought to himself, as ever so carefully he gathered the cards and began stacking them in his favor for the next hand...
"Wow! This feels so natural to write left-handed." Josie remarked, as she was able to sign her name on paper like she normally did. "In fact, trying to do things the other way seems wrong."
"Same here." Michael added, rotating his wrist. "Do you think this applies to everything else?"
"I don't see why not!"
The four of them returned to the table and didn't notice that Philipp had already begun dealing the next round. "Can we get the next hand started? I'm feeling lucky." He chuckled.
