While Cindy began updating her status on facebook as well as looking at what "her" friends did, Anna was currently sitting more well mannered and looked at the others with more maturity. Deep inside she knew that was wrong, she normally did not behave like this but she could not do anything about this.
She smiled at Melody when she won. "Great. Now you can choose something.", she said in an usual friendly tone. Melody was slightly intimidated by the new Anna. The old was frightening in some ways but she was used to it by now. But this new one? Even more frightening because she was not the Anna she knew.
"Okay... Er...", she stummered and almost forgot what she orignally wanted to swap. It took her a while to come back to her senses. "Er, er... Right. I've got to swap something.".
"She's just as terrified by this new Anna like all of us. But it's not really her who we're afraid of. It's the powers of these cards!", thought Michael looking at his sister who now was supposed to be his mother. Really strange to think about it.
"I want to swap heads with Josie.", blurted Melody out and soon saw her head on Josie's body after a blink. She looked down and nothing had changed except one thing: Instead of her blond hair, there was now long red hair falling into her face.
She looked at Josie and still saw her own head over there. Looking closer she saw that the neck seemed to have stayed the same although it was pretty hard to tell. Melody's and Josie's skin colour was quite the same.
"Awesome.", said Melody and was astonished that she still could hear her own voice. Her hands rushed up to her face and her fingers ran over it, touched every feature her new far more beautiful face had. She grabbed her purse and got out a compact mirror and looked at her own face.
"I'm beautiful.", she smiled and made several grimaces finding it funny to see Josie's face copying every move. Josie was not so happy about the swap. She looked at Melody who now had her face as well as her hair and earrings. Josie sighed. "Oh well... It's just for 48 hours.".
Cindy did not notice anything of it. She was too engrossed with her phone and her friends. Anna had to shake her head. That was the complete wrong thing she should do now. They were all sitting here and playing and all she does is using facebook and twitter. Inside she knew that this would be what she would do but her new found maturity changed this.
Philipp took the cards and dealt them. He looked very serious right now. He wanted to swap something with Cindy, that was the only reason he had asked her to play along.
