The Greatest Minds of our Generation...

Teaching is an invaluable asset to our civilization, of that there can be no doubt. How can there be a future without teachers after all, and yet our society often leaves them with the shorter end of the stick. You know that well as a high school teacher. You also know that teenagers can be as much or bigger pains in the ass as their folks who pay your wages. You work in a private school, so things aren't as bad as they could be, but being different in the caldron of roiling hormones that is high school can be hell at times, even when you're the teacher. You sit when you lecture and point to the white board with either a laser pointer or a yard stick from your seat. And most of the students have pet names for you. "Mr. Whale." and "Prof. Gut." being the gentlest of these. But you bear through the teasing with a semi-light heart because you love what you do everyday.

Now, the part I know you've been waiting for. John's total mass!

For this story, let's assume that John gained most of his weight in his late teens and early twenties and has been stable for the last few years.

*I'm cutting out the 650 lb option cause I think it'd be real difficult to be an effective teacher at that size. If you feel differently, shoot me an e-mail with your justification and I'll open a spot for you.*
