The pie Granny'd left to cool on the sill last night sings a siren's call to Applejack's nose.
Ah did almost all of the work in makin' that pie... she thinks, 's only fair Ah get to have some.
Applejack gingerly lifts the pie tin from the windowsill, setting it by the hutch. She quickly plates herself up a heaping slice of the pie and dives in.
The delightful, sweet flavors of the fruit light up AJ's tastebuds like fireworks. She might have such pies often, but they never cease to amaze. She wolfs down the morsel, before extracting another slice from the tin and tucking in. Soon, her ears are met with the sound of fork against plate, along with a stomach growl. She moves, on autopilot, to grab another slice, and eats the whole thing in one bite before polishing off the rest of the pie at lightning speed.
Having finished the pie, she sets her sights on some other things in the kitchen, hoping they'll make a bigger dent in her hunger than that pie did.
