This choice: Chloe, in a beautiful outfit. • Go Back... When the door opened your breath was practically taken away. She was wearing an extra long, orange blouse to match with her fur, with blue jeans and her hair in a ponytail.
"Wow." you say. "You look beautiful."
"You're not too bad yourself," Chloe jokingly says. "Well, c'mon! We're gonna be late!" The two of you walk to the school together.
The dance was being held in the school gym, and when the two of you got there, everybody was dancing. You spotted Ramona and Colin sitting on the bleachers.
"Hey, you guys." you say.
"We've been waiting for you two." Ramona says.
"You were?" you say, surprised.
"We wouldn't want to start dancing without our friends here." Colin says.
"You consider me as a friend?" Chloe asks.
"Of course!" Ramona answers. "Any friend of [your name]'s is a friend of ours."
Chloe smiles and lightly blushes.
"Oh, and the teachers trusted us enough not to get any chaperones for the dance." Colin adds.
A few minutes later you were getting something to drink. You still haven't started dancing with Chloe, though. As you finished your drink, another song starts playing. It had an upbeat, techno feel to it. Chloe gasps in delight.
"Oh my God!" she exclaims. "This is my favorite song!" She then pulls you onto the dance floor and starts dancing with you. You were never the best dancer, and you knew this for a fact, so you try to go with Chloe's movements.
"What song is this?" you ask her.
"I have no idea. I just wanted to get you to start dancing." she says with a giggle. "You need to get out of your comfort zone, [your name]."
She was right.
Soon the song ends, and a slower one starts playing. You knew this was your chance to get close to Chloe. Just then Chloe embraces you with a hug and slowly moves with you. You hugged her back and danced with her. This was probably the best moment of your life. After the song ended, Chloe needed to go to the bathroom, so she excused herself. You used this time to leave the gym and go into the hallway so you can catch yourself. You felt like you were in heaven. You were on the perfect date, with the perfect girl. You walk down the hall and looked down the left corridor and saw Ramona kissing Colin. If that wasn't your cue to get back into the gym, you didn't know what was.
As you get back inside, you see Chloe sitting on the bleachers. The two of you get back to dancing, and when Ramona and Colin got back, the four of you switched dance partners, so now Ramona was dancing with you, and Chloe with Colin. After a while, you and Chloe decided that it was time to leave. Chloe wanted to get one last drink first, so you tell her that you'll meet her outside. However, as you made your way out, you run into the one furry that you've been wanting to stay away from all night, Luke.
"I thought I told you to stay away from my girl, you little bitch!" Luke shouts.
You really did not want to deal with this. Not tonight, of all nights.
"You're here with Eileen, you hypocritical piece of shit!" you answer back.
Luke gets mad and pushes you."WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?!" Luke was so loud that everyone in the gym turned their attention to you and him, including Chloe.
"Listen Luke," you say. "You can keep harassing me if you want, but I promise you that when the day comes where you finally cross the line, I will beat the shit out of you so bad, you'll run home like a scared PUNK!"
Luke has finally had enough. He starts cracking his knuckles. "I'll take my chances, you little-" Just then Colin punches him right in the face, out of nowhere.
"I've been wanting to do that all year." Colin says.
After that you walk outside and stand by the school gates. What were you gonna do now? You and Luke just made a scene in front of everyone, including Chloe. What would SHE think? She'd probably assume that you were just as bad as Luke.
"That was really brave of you." you heard someone say. You turn around and see Chloe shyly smiling at you.
"You mean you're not mad?" you ask.
"Why would I be?" she asks back. "You did what you needed to do. Luke needed to be put in his place. He had no right to call me his girl."
You laugh in agreement. "You're right. Well, I should be getting you back home." you say.
On your way back, Chloe spots a photo booth. She pulls you over to the booth and the two of you take some pictures. It was pretty fun. Finally, you got Chloe back home.
"Thanks for walking me back," she says. "Despite what happened with Luke I still had the most wonderful night of my life." She then leans forward, gently grabs your shoulders and plants a passionate kiss on your lips. "Good night." you nervously say after the kiss ends.
"It doesn't have to end," Chloe says. "My mom sent me a text during the dance saying that he won't be home until midnight. We can hang out in my house till then."
You check your watch and see that it's half past ten. What do you say to Chloe?  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
